Safeguarding at Bramley Phoenix Football Club

At Bramley Phoenix Football Club, safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. We are fully committed to providing a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment for all players, coaches, volunteers, and spectators – especially children and vulnerable adults.

Our Safeguarding Commitment

We believe:

● Everyone involved in football has the right to feel safe and be protected from harm.
● We must act responsibly, respectfully, and with care at all times.
● Safeguarding is not just a policy – it’s embedded in how we run our club every day.

What We Do

To ensure the highest safeguarding standards, we:

● Follow the FA’s Safeguarding Children Policy and Safeguarding Adults Policy.
● Ensure all coaches, staff, and volunteers are DBS checked and receive safeguarding training.
● Appoint a dedicated Club Welfare Officer as your first point of contact for any concerns.
● Promote safe communication between adults and young people.
● Make sure players understand their rights and who they can talk to.
● Encourage open conversations and create a culture where everyone is listened to.
