Bramley Phoenix FC
More than a club – we’re a family. Rooted in the community, powered by passion.
We're Now a Registered Charity
We are proud to be a registered charity, using the power of football to create positive change in our community. Every donation, sponsorship, and match played supports local development, youth programmes, and inclusive access to sport.
As a charitable organisation, our mission goes far beyond the pitch – we’re here to inspire, support, and grow together.

Our Story
Bramley Phoenix Junior Football Club – established in 1999
Bramley Phoenix Junior Football Club was founded in 1999, originally known as Leeds Soccer Club. With just one team and a pitch at Bramley St Peter’s Primary School, we set out to provide safe, fun football to young people in our local community.
Our decision to base the club at a school paid off – it helped us connect with families, attract new players, and quickly grow from one team to two. That community-first mindset still drives everything we do.
As we grew, so did our ambition. Partnering with Bramley Phoenix Rugby Club gave us a new base – and a new name. The club expanded again in 2002, moving training to the West Leeds Activity Centre (formerly the Laser Centre) to accommodate our increasing numbers. By 2004, we proudly registered our first girls’ team, as more and more young girls started showing up to train and play.
We’ve always welcomed players of all backgrounds and abilities, and our growth has been powered by the dedication of local volunteers. While early coaches were mostly parents stepping up, we now also attract experienced coaches who share our values.
As the only junior football club in Bramley, we’re proud to offer local children a chance to play without needing to travel out of the area. Our youngest players now train and play at Bramley St Peter’s, while older teams benefit from the facilities at Leeds West Academy and the Bramley Fall Wood pitches – right at the heart of the community.

We continue to evolve, responding to changes from the FA and local leagues, and always mindful of the need to support our volunteers in balancing football with life beyond the pitch.
Respect is at the heart of our club – respect for players, coaches, referees, and parents. We work closely with the West Riding FA to set expectations early and help everyone understand what good grassroots football looks like. When our players feel supported, welcome, and respected, they thrive – whatever the score.
